Job Description

This role will report to the Head of Operations. The Office Manager will take ownership of various functions and work closely with Finance, accountants, IT systems, Human Resources, and will run the facilities. The Office Manager will act as the gatekeeper and will look at efficiencies, run the office and support a high-performance team.

The right candidate for this role will be high energy, bring a positive culture into the business and be able to work in an unstructured environment. This is an incredibly fast paced area of the business and as such, would need someone that can deal with pressure, work efficiently and have zero tolerance for tardiness and inefficiencies. This is effectively one of the key areas of this business and needs to be run with high professionalism, a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

 

Expected Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Admin & facilities
    • Liaise with the IT department to ensure that everything is working correctly
    • Manage the IT stock and update where necessary
    • Ad hoc administration
  • Finance
    • Checking and submitting invoicing
    • Purchasing and managing of office supplies
    • Collection of receipts
  • Human Resources
    • Staff leave requests, filing and tracking
    • Monitoring time keeping of staff
    • Ensure that copies of staff contracts are updated and filed

 

Requirements:

  • Driver’s license and own car
  • Previous office experience as Personal Assistant and Office Manager
  • Excellent computer & typing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized & efficient
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Word & Excel skills
  • Good telephonic manner
  • Matric
  • Clear criminal record
  • Trustworthy & honest
