Job Description

A well-established Asset Manager is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to partner cross-functionality for them. This Business Analyst will elicit, analyze, and specify requirements to solve complex business challenges. The analyses created will help to drive revenue, margin, and client retention. The ability to align project delivery to client priorities and expectations will be essential. To succeed in this role, you should have exceptional critical and conceptual thinking skills and thrive in a high-performance culture.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BComm degree
  • Business Analysis Certification
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst / Consultant
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and optimizing business processes within a high-performance environment
  • Some experience of the investment administration and/or asset management industry

 

Expected Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To drive delivery:
    • Assume responsibility for successful project delivery
    • Ensure that delivery is to quality expectations, on time, and delivered using formal, repeatable processes
    • Ensure alignment of delivery to agreed priorities
    • Ensure alignment of Business Solutions team methodology with that of IS and PMO
    • Identifying, qualifying and reporting delivery risk
  • To establish and build relationships:
    • Building positive working relationships and working closely with internal stakeholders (Business, Information Systems and Project Management Office)
    • Setting and managing business expectations in a proactive manner
    • Managing relationships with external vendors
    • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
  • To perform requirements analysis:
    • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas of improvement
    • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
    • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
    • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
    • Managing competing resources and priorities
    • Determining a pragmatic change management approach
    • Performing user acceptance testing and facilitating user training
